This is the fourth book and the last in the Darkwater Saga. (See first review of series 12/16) It is much darker that the previous books in the series.  The sense of pending doom is thick throughout the book.  Carr does an excellent job in his fantasy keeping all the elements that worked so well  This is a satisfying ending to the series and I would recommend it to all to love fantasy .
